using heard

You need to be at least 13 to use Heard. Use your own phone number, and keep one account per person.

By creating an account you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.

your content

Your username, profile photo and the songs you pick are yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to other Heard users as the app is designed to, only for running Heard.

You're responsible for what you post, and it must follow the rules below.

the rules

Heard has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't use Heard to harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone; to post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content (including in your username or photo); or to spam.

We may remove content, change an offensive username, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, without warning.

reporting and blocking

You can report or block anyone from their profile, or from a friend request. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or people that break these terms.

music

Song previews and artwork come from Apple and belong to their rights holders. Heard is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Apple Music or Spotify.

the service

We work hard to keep Heard running, but it's provided as it is, and it may change, have downtime or stop. We'll try to give notice before any big change.

ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms.

liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses caused by using or not being able to use Heard. Nothing in these terms limits anything that can't be limited by law.

the law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep any rights your local law gives you.
